ABOUT
Fernando Garnica
Fernando Garnica currently serves as the Director of Human Resources and School Counseling for the Anthony Independent School District. He holds a Master's degree in Education, Educational Administration, a Master’s degree in Education, Guidance and Counseling, and a Bachelor's degree in Arts with a Minor in Secondary Education from the University of Texas at El Paso. Mr. Garnica has been in education for 30 years and has been with Anthony ISD since 2012. He has served in various capacities during his tenure in Anthony ISD as a secondary school counselor, assistant principal of secondary schools, and high school principal. Mr. Garnica served as a Foreign Language Teacher for 5 years at Clint ISD and 13 years at Socorro ISD. Mr. Garnica is a staunch advocate for student success and is committed to educational excellence.
